ECES presents a dissertation at a forum on racism and elections in Bolivia

In the context of the reflection sessions organised by the Ombudsman's Office, entitled "Perspectives on Human Rights," Rafael Loayza, representing ECES, presented a paper entitled "Polarisation and Racism in the Context of the 2025 Electoral Cycle." The presentation focused on explaining how phenomena such as racism have been transformed into tools for electoral production through hate speech and, consequently, the generation of conflict.
The event was organised by the Ombudsman's Office in coordination with the Law School of the Bolivian Catholic University. Ombudsman Pedro Calisaya inaugurated the session, which was attended by approximately 100 students and professors from the university's Law and Political Science program.
