Daria Paprocka holds a MA and PhD degrees in political sciences; she wrote her PhD thesis on Afghanistan´s political system, capitalizing on the experience acquired as a Political Affairs Officer at the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan. Dr Paprocka has over 20 years of experience working for international organizations such as the United Nations (UN), Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), European Union (EU), the Council of Europe (CoE), and the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES).

Daria Paprocka has been working as an international electoral consultant since 2010. She has been participating in election observation missions of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), in a capacity of Deputy Head of Mission or of a Political & Campaign Finance Analyst. She also provides legal opinions on the regulatory framework developed by election management bodies. Since 2017, Dr. Paprocka has been working as a Senior Researcher at ECES, where she specializes in electoral political economy analysis, electoral security threat assessment, and in women participation in politics.

Dr Paprocka worked in variety of regions, such as, Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia), Central Asia (Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), Eastern Europe (Moldova, Ukraine), EU (Croatia, Czech Republic, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden), Horn of Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya) and the Western Balkans (Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia).

Daria Paprocka is a member of the Scientific Committee of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Malaga, Spain and an associate professor at the International Relations Department of Marbella International University Centre/University of West London. Dr Paprocka speaks English, Spanish, Russian, and Polish.
