Claudio Giulietti holds UNESCO Master’s Degree in Conflict and Development Studies. He has over 10 years of experience in the international arena. Claudio has extensive experience in managing high-scale electoral and peace-keeping missions; he took part in over 30 international missions (among electoral technical assistance, observation, evaluation, formulation and exploratory missions) gaining comparative experience on the electoral, political and social dynamics of different countries always working in hostile environments and in very tight timeframes namely the Middle East, the Balkans, South Asia, Africa, the Mediterranean and Latin America with the EU, UN EAD, UNDP, the CARTER CENTER, and the OSCE/ODIHR covering different positions including Project Manager, State Advisor, Operations/Logistics Expert, Election Assistance Expert, and long-term observer.
 

He possesses also substantive experience in electoral assistance in conflict and post-conflict environments mainly with the Electoral Assistance Division of the United Nations Department of Peace-Keeping Operations. He has project management experience drafting and managing mission budgets as well as experience in projects implementation, formulation, assessment, coordination and training of mission staff.
