On 7 December 2021, the closing ceremony of the Support Project for the Development and Consolidation of Democracy and the Rule of Law in Madagascar (PADEM) was held in Antananarivo. Various stakeholders in the electoral process attended, and it was an opportunity to present, among other publications : A Compendium of testimonies and recommendations on women's political participation in Madagascar. The Compendium was therefore published, highlighting testimonies from several categories of women affected by gender issues. The publication includes testimonies from women who are not candidates of a political party, elected women, women who hold or have held a nominated position, but also from some men who are sensitive to women's participation in politics. The publication also includes several portraits of Malagasy women politicians who have made history.
