As part of the collaboration between the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) and the African Union, Ambassador Calixte Aristide Mbari, Head of the Democracy, Elections and Constitutionalism Division of the African Union Commission, is on a mission to Libreville with the support of ECES. The purpose of the mission is to relaunch the Network of Election Management Bodies of the Community of Central African States project. This dream was born in 2011 by the former President of ECES and former President of the CENI- DRC, the late Abbé Apollinaire Malumalu, and ECES supported its first activity in Libreville. It is a joy to relive, 14 years later, the steps that will lead to the realisation of a dream of finally having a Network of Election Management Bodies in Central Africa.

The Ambassador paid a courtesy visit to the office of the European Electoral Support Centre in Libreville.
