We are proud to have supported the first technical meeting of the Network of Electoral Management Bodies (EMB) of Central Africa in Libreville, Gabon, 7 and 8 April 2025. This network will bring toghether the Economic Community Central African States (ECCES) member states.
ECES and the African Union supported this activity via the Pro Electoral Integrity Project founded by the Italian ministry of foreign affairs.
On this occasion, the EMBs in the region gathered to review and discuss the adoption of the Network’s statute and internal regulations, following the path of similar initiatives undertaken by the regional networks of West and Southern Africa.
This meeting marks a significant milestone in the process of formalizing regional cooperation among EMBs.
