As part of the support project for parliament and electoral processes, Projet d’Appui au Parlement et aux Processus Électoraux (PAPPE), has conducted training in advocacy and resource mobilisation took place from 26 to 28 July 2024 at the Hôtel la Tchadienne.
The aim of the training was to build the skills of members of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) and associations active in the defence of human rights in Chad.
It was designed to enable participants to develop effective advocacy and mobilisation strategies, targeting the Technical and Financial Partners (TFPs) present in Chad.
Using a participatory approach and practical exercises, the training course strengthened the capacity of beneficiaries in the following areas
1. the development of coherent advocacy strategies tailored to TFPs
2. creating and tailoring advocacy messages to the priorities of TFPs
3. mobilising resources
4. conducting successful negotiations with TFPs.
