We are delighted to announce that the documentary on our Jordan project is officially available on the European Commission's Audiovisual Portal
This is a testimony to the great efforts and successes achieved throughout this four-year project in support of democratic institutions and development in Jordan!
The European Union (EU) funded programme 'EU Support to Jordanian Democratic Institutions and Development, EU-JDID' aims at supporting Jordan's reform process towards consolidation of democracy and at promoting inclusiveness of national policy and decision-making processes. EU-JDID also intends to enhance women and youth inclusion and to foster a stronger democratic and tolerant political culture.
The programme is composed of four different but interconnected components, namely Parliamentary Support, Electoral Assistance, Support to the Political Party System and Support to the Media and Civil Society.
EU-JDID is implemented by the consortium led by the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) and composed of the
Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy ( NIMD ) and French Agency for Media Cooperation ( CFImedias ). The fourth component of EU-JDID (Support to the Civil Society Organisations), is implemented by the Spanish Cooperation Agency, AECID
