Hajer Mhedhbi has over 16 years of experience in financial, administrative, and operational management, primarily within international organizations from the EU and US. She has contributed to the implementation of projects across various countries in Africa and the Middle East. Her expertise extends to managing programs funded by different donors, including the European Union, USAID, MEPI, and EU member states.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in Advanced Business Studies, majoring in Finance, from the ‘’ Institut des Hautes Études Commerciales de Carthage’’ (IHEC), Hajer began her career in the private sector. She gained valuable experience working with multinational companies such as LIONI, operating in the automotive industry, and CCM Consulting Group , which specializes in supporting institutions in project implementation across multiple sectors.

In 2011, Hajer joined the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in Tunisia, an organization dedicated to supporting elections in emerging democracies. Since 2015, she has been part of the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES), initially as a Finance Advisor based at the headquarters in Brussels, providing assistance to projects in countries such as Burkina Faso, Guinea, the Comoros, Madagascar, and Senegal. By 2017, she was deployed as Finance and Administration Manager for projects in Jordan, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia and Guinea.

Hajer has a strong background in managing EU, USAID, and other donor funds, ensuring compliance with both internal and donor-specific procedures. Her contributions have supported a wide range of beneficiaries, including electoral commissions, ministries, civil society organizations, and local governance institutions.

Certified in PRAG and in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 and 19011) Hajer is skilled in launching tenders across all budget scales, financial management, logistics, operations, and administration in the international development and project management sectors.
