Joachim Baggnan is an electoral expert and certified teacher. After studying Philosophy and Humanities, he became a certified BRIDGE workshop facilitator and LEAD certified trainer.
His experience is extensive in the field of electoral administration: Vice-President of the Independent Electoral Commission (CENI) of Burkina Faso for five consecutive years, Member of the Commission for the organisation of consular elections at the Chamber of Trades and Agriculture of Burkina Faso, Focal Point of the Association of African Electoral Authorities and since 2018, Chargé de Missions at the Ministry of African Integration and Burkinabè Abroad
In addition to his experience in training and electoral administration, Joachim Baggnan has worked as a consultant in the same field.
At ECES, he contributed to the establishment of a Situation Room for the Ethiopian Federation of Civil Society Organisations. He has also collaborated with law firms, foundations, UNDP and NDI and has participated in exchange missions and numerous official meetings.
Mr. Baggnan has also been active in the field of education, holding several positions as Principal.
