Jacopo Bisiol is a Junior Project and Communication Officer at the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES).
Previously, he worked as a trainee in Institutional Communication at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome, where he contributed to social media strategies, event coverage, and editorial planning. He also collaborated as an activist and Border Violence Reporter with grassroots initiatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on collecting testimonies of border violence and documenting human rights violations along the Balkan route.
Jacopo holds a Bachelor's degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from Università degli Studi di Trieste and a Master's degree in International Relations and Global Security from Sapienza Università di Roma. His Master's dissertation, inspired by fieldwork along the Bosnian-Croatian border, examined border violence and illegal pushbacks. This research later led to the publication of an article in a peer-reviewed academic journal on migration and human rights.
During his studies, he participated in Erasmus+ exchanges at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Université Libre de Bruxelles. He is fluent in Italian, English, and French.
